Writing and Reporting

Through various journalism classes, such as writing across platforms and multiplatform reporting, I've learned to report on various topics across different media, including online, print, and broadcast.


In my photojournalism classes, I've completed various projects including profiles, news packages, features, documentary projects, and more. I have proficient knowledge of Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, and Illustrator.


In my video journalism classes, I've practiced filming interviews, b-roll, packages, features, and more. I have proficient knowledge of Premiere and After Effects.

Environmental journalism

I'm passionate about environmental policy, health and justice. I've studied and researched sustainability initiatives at the University of Georgia, interned at the Office of Sustainability, and advocate for environmental policy reform in the Athens-Clarke County community.


The Chapel Bell

Video content producer for "The Chapel Bell," a positive press publication at the University of Georgia. The Chapel Bell's mission is to create and distribute a unique, campus-wide publication that inspires students toward action and promotes positive ideas on campus and beyond.

Bag the Bag

Board member for "Bag the Bag," a campus and community organization advocating for sustainability in the Athens-Clarke county community and reducing waste generated from single-use items like the plastic bag. Bag the Bag UGA strives to raise awareness about the ecological and economic dangers of single-use plastic items while promoting sustainable alternatives.


Social media manager for the University of Georgia chapter of the National Press Photographers Association, an American professional association made up of still photographers, television videographers, editors, and students in the journalism field. The NPPA places emphasis on photojournalism, or journalism that presents a story through the use of photographs or moving pictures.

The Red & Black

Contributer for "The Red & Black," an independent, private, not-for-profit student newspaper. "The Red & Black" circulates the largest college newspaper in Georgia. Each week we distribute 10,000 copies of the print edition both on and off campus, reaching nearly 45,000 students, faculty and staff. The print edition — and daily online content — cover University of Georgia and Athens news, sports, arts, music, culture and opinion pieces.


Communications Intern, FMD

Communications intern for the Facilities Management Division at UGA. This internship program is held within the UGA Office of Sustainability. Using traditional and new media, I document the projects and people of the Facilities Management Divison who are responsible for the operation and success of the University of Georgia.

Front Desk Assistant

Front Desk Assistant for University Housing at UGA. I am responsible for being a primary point of contact for the students within a residential community. The primary function of my position is to staff a community's 24-hour front desk. In addition, I provide assistance to the community administrative assistant, area coordinator, residence hall director, and graduate residents with administrative tasks and serves as a resource of information to students, parents, and other constituents.

Summer Camp Counselor

I am responsible for planning, leading, and implementing Christ-centered programs and experiences for children in both small and large group settings. I am also responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants in my cabin.

Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant (RA) lives and works with a group of 30 to 75 students in one of nine residential communities. The primary purpose of the position is to promote community development, assist in crisis management situations, and enforce university and departmental policies.
